I purchased my African hunt (that Danie so graciously donated) at the Seattle Ducks Unlimited dinner. Having never been to Africa, I did not know what to expect other than stories from other people. My 10 days hunting with Danie was one of the best experiences in my life. We stalked many animals that we could have shot but Danie will only shoot high quality trophies. As it was, we shot 16 animals, and all but 1 scored Gold medal. Before leaving camp, I booked a 16 day hunt for the next year. The hunting experience was beyond compare but just as important, the friendship, good times and laughter were equally great to make the perfect experience.

This was a dream come true for us. It is something we always wanted to do, but didn’t think we would ever get to do. Thank you so much for fixing the gun rest for Aubrey so that he could continue his hunting after his surgery on his arm. It worked so well and kept his hunting experience from being ruined. We have really enjoyed the time we have spent over here. The two of you have been such gracious hosts. We have enjoyed our evening fellowship so much.

Wow what a hunt, what can I say. Dad and I have talked about, and dreamed about doing a hunt like this for 20 years or more. To see a Kudu was great and to actually harvest two of them was awesome. Dreams do come true and with the help and guidance of guys like Danie and his staff we managed to harvest 11 animals. This made the hunt more that we dreamed about. We are proud of all our trophies and they will be put on display at the business for al to see and enjoy. Thank you so much.

I am 54 years old and have wanted to hunt in Africa for as long as I can remember. Well, I finally took the plunge and booked with Danie in June of 2007. The hunt was everything I had imagined and hoped it would be. Danie guided me to four spectacular animals on my safari. A kudu was my number 1 animal I wanted by far and boy did we get a kudu! He was a dream come true for me. He measured 55 and a half inches!!! What a beautiful mature bull he was! I also took a great gemsbok, waterbuck, and a Black-Wildebeest. It was a great hunt and I am looking forward to going back soon. Also the food and hospitality was just outstanding. Thank-you Danie and Izel,

When I return to hunt again, it will not be a business transaction. It will be to join old friends. The staff, vehicles, accommodations, food and game was all 1st class. Just as I hunted the first time with you everything was perfect. All the animals were of such high quality, how do you keep doing it? I did not hesitate to come by myself after my experience the first time and was correct in my thinking, everything was as good as the first time and that doesn’t happen to often. Danie, I don’t see how I will ever be able to top the fantastic experience of my first trip to Africa. I came to Namibia not knowing what to expect but am departing with a wonderful feeling about the hunting and the people. You and your staff do an outstanding job of making sure that your clients are WELL taken care off. I was blown away by your knowledge of the game we where after as well as the superb job your trackers do. I promise to learn to shoot “on the shoulder” and save your guys some work on my NEXT TRIP. Danie, this is the best hunting trip I've ever been on. If everybody was as professional as you the hunting industry would be great. Your staff was excellent and your trackers were simply outstanding. I don’t know how they can follow those tracks with all the others on the ground. The hospitality all day and especially at night was better than my best friends. The trophies were OUTSTANDING and the quality the best I had ever seen. I could not have asked for a better time and cant wait to get home and rub it in on Bruce.

The hunt was greater than I thought it would be and the hospitality has been wonderful. I have made new friends across the water. The animals I have taken are bigger trophies than I thought they would be as a result of your great skills. This has been a great experience and I look forward to a return hunt with my son. I have hunted twice with Danie, once in April 2006 and again in October 2007.  Booking a second trip with the same PH should tell most people that the first trip was an overall success!  On both hunts, Danie was able to locate the right area for the right animal specie and then successfully select a good trophy.  The method of hunting is search, track and stalk and in all cases injected the element of excitement that all hunters enjoy and appreciate.
