Recommendation
• We would prefer our clients to use fixed Broad
Heads and not mechanical Broad Heads. We found Thunderheads
to work the best with a 1-1/8" cutting diameter
or 1-3/16" cutting diameter.
• Best bow hunting times are during the drier
months of the year, namely: June, July, August, September,
October and November.

Tips for preparation prior
to your hunt
• Practice often.
• Increase practice times as your hunt approaches.
• Start close and work back. We try not to hunt further
than 40 yards but mainly at 25 yards
• Practice with your exact hunting equipment, clothing
included as you will be hunting when on safari.
• Practice unorthodox shooting positions.
• Practice from unknown, odd shooting distances.
• Practice from elevated positions.
Time is critical and every opportunity you get you have to
take.
Your test to see if you are ready
• If you can put 6 arrows in a 9 inch radius circle
on 40 yards, you are ready for Africa. |
